I chose the 23 because I wanted the Brooklyn shape in a compact size. It carries my phone, card holder, keys and small beauty essentials without feeling bulky.
The 28 gives me noticeably more room than a small shoulder bag but still feels easy to carry all day. It has become my default size for shopping and weekend plans.
I specifically bought the 39 because I needed the largest Brooklyn. My 15 inch laptop fits alongside the everyday things I take to the office, which is exactly what I wanted.
The strap sits comfortably on my shoulder and makes the bag feel easy even when I have more inside. I like how relaxed the Brooklyn looks without becoming awkward to carry.
The 23 is definitely the essentials size. I would choose the 28 if you regularly carry a large pouch or extra items, but for lighter days I love the smaller proportion.
For me the 28 is the sweet spot. It has enough room for a full day out but still keeps the sleek Brooklyn silhouette I liked in the first place.
